character drawings

The top is Tasha, then Yeremy and Yeffrey. I wanted Yeffrey to have a much more angular design since his name has more stresses in the syllables, and a slightly rounder look to Yeremy. I wanted to push the style as much as possible and keep everything simple to be quick and efficient. Tasha was done pretty quick and I didn't put the hoop earings on her, but I think we're just going to stick with her sillhouette. Let me know what you think and if any drastic changes need to be made. Sorry about the quality of the images.

Too much fun

Bryan, i did a paintover ... over your sillouetes, if you don't mind. I also corrected some of the poses. As you can see, the ones that i gave a little bit more "love" on the rendering are the ones i'm leaning towards. Also added another page of the sillouetes i did on Alchemy. What a kickass little gem of a program.

Gunnm reference

This is one of my main influences when it comes to comics and cyborg design. It's japanese... but please try to go past the "big shiny eyes". Tell me what you think. Note the rotating cylinder/cog type arms, the butterfly type combat Naginata... kickass!

Hey, It's me Bryan! I'm gonna start on some sillhouettes soon and post them so we can finally nail down the look of our characters. I'll also be working on dialogue and and final panel layout planning so we can fit in all the story elements we want without going over fourteen pages.

Pretty empty

Gentlemen!

I am 50 minutes away of embarking in the 18hour+ adventure of crossing the entire US and Atlantic Ocean, back to the god forsaken, sea and sun bathed (now rainy) Portugal. Europe's rear end... where the sun actually shines... (now rainy and cloudy). As soon as i arrive at my sunny and warm humble abode in Lisbon (now rainy and cloudy and cold). I will get cracking on those preliminary pencils, so Mr Thompson can go over them, and post them back so i can go over them and post them back, so Mr Bullyieener..erer.. can give us green light so we can hopefully finish this before that dreaded 9th of January.
